Through the Mooch Money "Refer a Friend" program, existing users can share their unique invite links to grow the social peer-to-peer lending network. When a friend signs up using your code, you receive a $50 credit inside the app. This bonus is officially unlocked and credited to your account profile once your referred friend completes registration and enters into their first loan as an investor.

A new customer must input the unique referral code directly during the initial digital onboarding and verification sequence inside the Mooch mobile app. Once applied and the profile is approved via identity and income verification, the tracking credit is automatically applied toward the referee's very first loan on the platform to offset upfront costs.

To participate as an investor or a borrower (Moocher), individuals must be an Australian permanent resident, 18 years or older, and possess a verified regular income. The platform skips traditional credit checks and allows users to borrow or invest up to a maximum cap of $2,000 (initially capped at $500 for first-time borrowers). All loans are subject to a negotiated Mooch Loan Fee (capped at 24%) with flexible repayment schedules that carry a maximum timeline of 62 days and sync directly with your employment pay cycle.
