The older help-centre referral FAQ describes a UK PayPal offer and does not establish Australian eligibility. Yes. Eligible new Australian users aged 18 or over receive A$10 Tixel credit when creating their first account through a referral link or code. The referrer receives their A$10 credit on the date you complete your first genuine ticket purchase, subject to Tixel's checks.
Tixel's current Australian referral terms require the invited user's first purchase to unlock the referrer's A$10 credit. Listing or selling a ticket does not qualify. The invited user's own A$10 credit is issued at eligible signup.
No minimum purchase value applies to the transaction that unlocks your referrer's reward. The A$50 minimum applies when spending Tixel referral credit: the eligible order must total at least A$50, including ticket price and fees, before credit is deducted.
The invited user's credit expires 90 days after issue. The referrer's credit lasts 365 days after issue. These are separate deadlines, starting when each person's credit is issued. Check the expiry in your Tixel account before choosing tickets.
Yes. Referral credit can reduce the checkout total, including ticket price, Tixel service fees and payment processing fees. Multiple valid Tixel credits can be combined if the order meets each credit's minimum spend. Credit is personal to your account and cannot be transferred or withdrawn as cash.
No previous purchase is required to refer a friend. You need a valid Tixel account in good standing and must be an Australian resident aged 18 or over. There is no referral cap, but invited friends must never have held a Tixel account. Links are for personal, non-commercial use; self-referrals, spam and paid or automated distribution are prohibited.
If your friend's first purchase is later refunded, reversed or charged back, Tixel may cancel your referral credit or recover its value. A completed, genuine purchase is required for the reward to remain valid.
